Our expertise is in the entertainment industry, writing scripts and signage for the theme park industry, or creative treatments for presenting concepts either to company management or to investors. We write for the spoken word in the form of presentations, speeches, tour guide scripts or seminars. We write for the web and for advertising and marketing collateral with the same easy conversational and entertaining style that we bring to all our creative copy. Q. How does Write Creative Words charge for its services? A. If you want an hourly rate, we bill at $35/hour for our services. However, not much of our work is bid on a per hour basis. We usually give a quote for the project as a whole based on agreed goals and deadlines. The vast majority of our jobs range from $300 to $1200. Our biggest goal is to meet yours - on time, in budget and just what you wanted! You will find that Write Creative Words is an exceptional value. Q. What is the writing process like at Write Creative Words? A. At Write Creative Words, our first contact with a client can be through a face-to-face meeting or over the phone. Sometimes, another contractor to the client such as a web designer or advertising agency will hire us. At the first meeting, our goal is to delineate the scope of the project. We identify goals, deadlines, and key concepts. We discuss the "audience" and "environment" for the job. Once these pieces are identified, we will go to work and develop a "first draft" which is an interpretation of your goals. At that point, another "feedback" session is called and the copy is tweaked. A second draft (usually the final one!) is delivered quickly. Upon approval, the final product is "implemented" into the final form in a website, advertising piece, script, or speech. Q. Are some jobs too small for Write Creative Words? A. Honestly, the answer to this used to be "yes."
